With the success/hype of Depp/Burton collaborations like Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory and Alice in Wonderland, not to mention the three Pirates of the Caribbean films
Johnny partook in, I've come to realize that I miss the more serious side of Johnny Depp.
Don't mistake me, these films have done wonders for his career and it's been wonderful
seeing his sense of humor shine through on screen, but I realize I'm starting to really miss
the more serious, intense side of our dear boy.   Now that photos are being released off
the set of The Tourist, and I've gotten a look at his stern, furrowed brow, I find myself saying
"Now this is more like it!"  Bring on the pain, bring on the angst!  Hell if Burton and Johnny
are going to do anything together next it better be Dark Shadows!  I like my Depp broody!

If I want more zaniness in my cinematic experience, I'll go see a Jim Carrey film.

Welcome to a verbal and visual representation of the incredible actor,
musician, and artist that is Johnny Depp. Sister site to "
Got Depp", the site is in
honor of the numerous characterizations he has acquainted us with for over
two decades.  The majority of the site content remains the same for those of
you who are regular visitors.  Feel free to look around, and I do hope to hear
from some of you regarding the new site design.

Enjoy and thank you for taking the time to visit Deppictions.
